Mullumbimby
We spend the weekend in the beautiful hinterland. We stayed in the cozy little alternative town of Mullumbimby. It is surrounded by hills and mountains and we went for a few hikes in the area.

Read more “Mullumbimby”We returned to Byron after a few days to enjoy the hipster city life for a while. Having some barista coffee, the occasional happy hour and going out for dinner a few times.
Read more “Back to Byron”One of the reasons we were travelling north so quickly was to spend some times with good friends. They were kind enough to invite us over to their place for a few nights and we had some fun, playing games, cooking dinner and going for a sunrise surf.
And on the last evening, we even tried our new fire pit…
To complete our setup, we picked up a recycled outdoor carpet for our van. They are manufactured in Tweed Heads, which was just a few min north of us. So we picked it up right at the source and then stayed the weekend in Kingscliff.
Read more “Kingscliff”We are back in Byron Bay. This place is one of the reasons we wanted to hit the road in the first place. Due to the current situation and closed boarders, it is much less crowded than usual. Not that we’d complain… I guess we might stay a bit longer in the area.
