Finally on the road! First stop: Crescent Head!
We’ve been here before and one of the back beaches south of Crescent Head was actually the place where we made the decision to get a van many months ago. Therefore, it felt like a good idea to make it our first real stop.
This time, we spent most of our time close to the main beach in Crescent. Crescent Head itself is not too remarkable but it has all the necessities for daily life. A small grocery shop, a bottle-o, a bakery and two good coffee shops. And of course a fun and mellow right hand point break.
We spend a fun and relaxed week here, actually sleeping, working, living in the van. It’s fantastic! Our constructions work, the van really feels like home and provides a cosy shelter to us. The nights were border line too cold, though. It’s time to head further north into warmer climate!
