We are back in Byron Bay. This place is one of the reasons we wanted to hit the road in the first place. Due to the current situation and closed boarders, it is much less crowded than usual. Not that we’d complain… I guess we might stay a bit longer in the area.

It’s not as if we have anywhere else to go. We can’t go much further north, since the Queensland border is close. We can’t go much further south since there is Covid lockdown. I guess we could technically go further West, but there is nothing for a long time, and we can’t go further East since it’s the coast. Not a bad place to be…

We don’t plan to stay in Byron Bay itself for too long. But we’ll probably come back here occasionally and then stay in towns up and down this area of NSW, the northern rivers. There are many beautiful beaches and cliffs along the coastline and parks in the spectacular Hinterland to explore.
