A very windy weekend to wind down. Nothing to do but watching the ocean, spotting whales and visiting the museum that used to be a Gaol.
Arakoon is next to South West Rocks, a place that many people recommended to us. I think all of them were divers. There are some spectacular dive sites in the area. We are no divers, though…
But we still enjoyed out time there. It’s a beautiful piece of coast and Arakoon, where we actually stayed had some fantastic vistas. Its’ one of the very few spots in NSW where you can enjoy a sunset on the beach. Even though it is on the east coast, it has a western facing beach into a protected bay. No wonder there are so many dive sites in the area…
